Bill Gates Ingin Menderma! (Yea, Right....)

Pernah dapat email sebegini?

"Dear Friends, Pl ease do not take this for a junk letter. Bill Gates is sharing his fortune. If you ignore this you will repent later. Microsoft and AOL are now the largest Internet companies and in an effort to make sure that Internet Explorer remains the most widely used program, Microsoft and AOL are running an e-mail beta test. When you forward this e-mail to friends, Microsoft can and will track it (i f you are a Microsoft Windows user) for a two week time period.For every person that you forward this e-mail to, Microsoft will pay you $245.00, for every person that you sent it to that forwards it on, Microsoft will pay you $243.00 and for eve ry th ird person that receives it, you will be paid $241.00. Within two week! s, Microsoft will contact you for your address and then send you a cheque."

E-mail tersebut dah lama disahkan sebagai spam/email berantai. Ingat suka hati Bill Gates ke nak bagi duit semata-mata dengan forward e-mail? Masalahnya, zaman S&T dengan IT ni…masa wujud lagi ‘suckers’ yang dok forward email nih! Aku tulis entry ni sebab aku dapat email tu dari sorang hamba Allah ni yang ‘tak kisah’ nak buang forwarded messages terdahulu (sampai 681 kB!!). Dari forwarded messages tu aku tengok semua kerja bagus-bagus…engineer, doktor, eksekutif…pendek kata semuanya professional dan berpelajaran tinggi…tapi dok buat kerja ni jugak!!! Takkan setakat ada orang terdahulu claim dapat duit yang entah dari mana, maknanya email ni benar? Dah la tu depa kata depa ‘terkejut’ tengok baki dalam akaun bertambah – mana Microsoft tau nombor akaun depa, kecuali depa bagitau? Punya la tak logik tapi ramaiiiiii jugak yang percaya!!
